 Rustin Nadjmabadi is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fluoriq. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building and scaling early-stage ventures in highly regulated, compliance-driven environments, spanning technology-enabled platforms in the legal sector and the health and wellness industry, with a focus on cannabinoid-based therapeutic approaches.

In 2011, he founded Writ Legal, a nationwide litigation workflow platform that supports law firms handling complex matters, including pharmaceutical mass torts and medical device-related personal injury litigation.

In 2017, he expanded his operational and regulatory expertise by pursuing state-licensed dispensary permits through the co-founding of Curative Growth, Inc., a West Virginia–based company operating multiple state-licensed retail locations that provide cannabinoid-based therapeutic options to qualified patients, including those managing chronic pain.

In addition to his founder roles, Rustin has advised early-stage biotechnology companies on commercialization strategy, regulatory navigation, and operational execution

  David A. Colby is co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Fluoriq. He is a scientist-entrepreneur working at the intersection of chemistry and medicine, holding a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. His research focuses on fluorine-containing organic molecules for applications across the pharmaceutical, biotechno

  David A. Colby is co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Fluoriq. He is a scientist-entrepreneur working at the intersection of chemistry and medicine, holding a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. His research focuses on fluorine-containing organic molecules for applications across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries.

David is currently a professor and has authored nearly 50 peer-reviewed publications. He has secured federal and state research funding, contributed to patented and commercialized reagents, and received national recognition in the fields of pharmacy and chemistry. At Fluoriq, he leads efforts to translate advanced chemical discoveries into diagnostic reagents, medical device innovations, and biotechnology tools.

Based in Oxford, Mississippi, Dr. Kinard has practiced pain management since 2008, focusing on treatments that reduce the risk of chemical dependency and addiction. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern Pain Society, is an active member of several national and state medical associations, and currently sits on the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure.

Dr. Kinard founded and scaled Pause Pain and Wellness, LLC, a series of pain clinics operating in multiple states that collectively manage more than 20,000 patients. He is also the Chief Medical Officer and a member of the Science Advisory Board at Fluoriq, LLC, where he applies his expertise in clinical leadership, business development, and medical innovation to advance the company’s research and growth.

Dr. Jenny Wilkerson is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. Dr. Wilkerson received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and she completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pharmacology and toxicology where she was awarded the highly competitive Ruth L. Kirschstein F32 Individual National Research Service Award.

Dr. Jenny Wilkerson is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. Dr. Wilkerson received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and she completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pharmacology and toxicology where she was awarded the highly competitive Ruth L. Kirschstein F32 Individual National Research Service Award.

Also, Dr. Wilkerson held faculty appointments as a research track faculty member and as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Her research interests broadly encompass the involvement of the immune system in preclinical models of pathological pain and drug addiction, with an emphasis on natural product pharmacology. Dr. Wilkerson is a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society. She has over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has 18 years of experience in endocannabinoid research. Dr. Wilkerson has secured multiple National Institutes of Health awards, as well as state and private funding. Dr. Wilkerson serves on Fluoriq's Science Advisory Board.
